Participants receive weekly 1-2-1 mentoring sessions with qualified staff at Wolves Foundation with expertise in mental health, youth work and mentoring. The programme has been designed to increase access to NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, help tackle waiting times and reduce health inequalities by providing weekly 1-2-1 mentoring support for young people aged 11-21 with mild-moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing support needs, that are unable / unwilling to access direct CAMHS support. We deliver the programme in Wolverhampton in partnership with Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Advantage Mentoring is a national programme, comprising of partnerships between Community Organisations (CCOs), and their local NHS Trusts.
